An easy way to make up to $360 extra a month, here’s how:
Now more than ever, people are jumping into the gig economy, coming up with side hustles as an additional source of income. Becoming a blood plasma donor has grown into quite the popular gig; not only is it legal, it can actually save a life!
“Plasma? Like Plasma Screen?”
No.. not quite. Actually, not at all; the plasma I’m talking about is inside all of us, & can actually make us some extra money with minimal effort. Blood plasma in the human body is the clear liquid part of the blood which makes up more than 50% of the volume of blood and consists primarily of water. In addition, it contains enzymes, antibodies & important proteins that are essential for your body to fight disease, produce blood clots and prevent infections.

Now I know some of you are reading this and possibly thinking “Ok… Sounds like blood plasma is important, so why should I sell MY precious plasma?”
To answer that question simply without confusing you, here’s three reasons to consider selling your plasma:
1. Plasma regenerates in the body quickly and easily.
2. You can make up to $200-$300 a month!
3. Your donation can improve the health and lives of people who really need it.
“So How Much Can I Get Paid?”
A lot. The money you can earn selling your plasma depends primarily on the volume and frequency of your donations. The American Red Cross limits all donations for blood plasma to only once every 28 days, however, most private centers allow you to donate twice a week with at least 24 hours in between.
You could expect compensations from centers of anywhere between $30 and $60 per session. This compensation is relative to the volume of plasma you’re capable of donating (the more you weigh, the more plasma to sell). I left a list of private centers near the bottom of this article so you can price check and find one closest to you.
It’s easy math, let me show you. Let’s say you make $45 per donation & you donate twice a week for a month (4 weeks).
($45 x 2) x 4 = $90 x 4 = $360/ month
Now that’s an extra $300+ a month & a donation for a good cause! Your bank account smiles and so do you.
“Am I Eligible to Donate Plasma?”
Hold up! If you want to make that extra cash there’s a few things you should know:
Each blood plasma donation center will have its own requirements regarding age, weight, general health, etc. but you can check their websites for more information.
Adults in generally good health is typically the requirement to donate or sell plasma. You need to be at least 18 years old and weigh 110 pounds or more. However, if you have gotten any tattoos or piercings within the last year, your eligibility to sell blood plasma may be affected.
“Where Can I Find a Plasma Donation Center Near Me?”
So which donation center is going to offer you the most money? Well.. There are many different private centers, its probably just a search away to find a local one near you.
I’ve listed the major national companies with multiple locations across the United States below:
Additionally, you can check out DonatingPlasma. org, a website built by the donation industry to provide educational information for potential donors. They have a plasma center search tool on the website that will help you locate plasma donation centers near you.
